Apologies, I'm on Ubuntu 12.04

I am running the beta 3 in a desktop computer with Ubuntu 12.04 and it is working perfectly. Beta 2 had some issues with special characters in documents, and the background job would eventually stop working and syncing, but in beta 3 looks like both of those issues are fixed. Thanks a lot guys, keep it up.

Running beta 3 on xUbunut 12.04 (thunar file manager xfce desktop), and it works great. There is no integration with Thunar but that is no a feature that I need, using the notification icon if I need info on sync status. A headless version would be perfect for my server though.

When I run Insync beta 3 on OpenSUSE 12.1 (GNOME fallback), I don't get any icons, any windows, nor any browser opened. Instead, I get the following output in Terminal:

When I login in Chromium and rerun Insync, it looks the same. What should I do to successfully run Insync?

@Jerzy G. The current beta3 is limited by Ubuntu's AppIndicator API. In the next beta we will support: Gnome3 and Cinnamon; so hopefully one of these will work for you under OpenSuse.

Insync is not updating anymore ... just installed the latest beta 4. Could this be because I am using a local proxy server (squid) and insync cannot get through it?

@Jaideep T. yes, this is a problem with the proxy configuration. I will expose a command line interface in the next beta so you can configure this.
